A cheeky tale of campus folly!

“A smart, sassy and funny novel.”      Goodreads.

“A comic tour de force.”      Goodreads.

James Duffy is having a rough go of it. The beleaguered communications director at Sir Richard Middling University is struggling to do the right thing while navigating the quirks and minefields of campus politics. The challenges soon pile up: a takeover bid by an upstart polytechnical college, a protest against a bigoted guest speaker, and a campaign to tear down a statue of the university’s controversial namesake. Along the way, Duffy encounters a slew of offbeat characters, including an author of dreadful poetry, a hobbyhorse- riding free-speech advocate, and a diaper-wearing basset hound. As all seems lost, Duffy’s spirits are lifted and his moral compass righted by his best friend, the scholarly burlesque queen Dr. Fifi Dubé, and by the girl of his dreams, the wise and beautiful Sophie Munn.
